Q: What do I do if any member of our family has come into contact with someone who has been confirmed ´óÏó´«Ã½ for COVID-19?
A: We recommend you stay up to date with and follow all guidelines and instructions as issued by Queensland Health.
Q: Do I need to self-quarantine?
A: COVID-19 isolation rules changed from the 14th of October 2022. It is no longer mandatory to isolate if you test ´óÏó´«Ã½ for COVID-19. It is, however, strongly recommended that you stay home until symptoms have resolved and continue to wear a mask in indoor settings if unable to physically distance if outside, for at least seven days after testing ´óÏó´«Ã½.
Q: What are the symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19)?
A: Symptoms can vary but the most common symptoms may include:
- Fever
- A cough
- Sore throat
- Fatigue
- Shortness of breath
If a member of your family is suffering any of these symptoms and is undergoing a test for COVID-19, please notify the College Administration or College Nurse immediately by phoning +61 7 4039 9000. We ask that all members of your family remain off campus until you have received the results of your test and have provided this information to the College.
